1. Purpose

This document regulates the conditions of use of the sports equipment rental service offered by KUVI, both between individuals and through collaborating stores. The aim is to ensure a safe, fair and responsible experience for all parties involved.

2. General responsibilities

• Tenant (user who receives the material): undertakes to make appropriate and responsible use of the material and to return it in the same condition in which they received it.
• Owner (user or store who transfers the material): is obliged to deliver the material in good condition, clean and ready for safe use.

3. Duration of the rental

The duration of the rental will be as agreed at the time of booking. Unjustified delays may result in penalties depending on the platform’s conditions.

4. Theft of the material

In the event of theft, the tenant must:

• Report the fact immediately to KUVI and the owner.
• File a formal complaint with the authorities within a maximum period of 48 hours.
• In case of not filing the complaint, it will be considered negligence, and the tenant will have to assume the economic compensation of the value of the material, according to the price previously agreed or estimated by KUVI.

5. Damage or damage during the rental

• The tenant must report any damage detected or caused.
• Damage due to normal wear and tear will not imply compensation.
• In the event of misuse, negligence or accident:
  • Partial or total compensation may be demanded.
  • KUVI will act as a mediator in the event of a conflict.
• KUVI reserves the right to expel repeat users.

6. Security deposit

In certain cases, KUVI may require a security deposit, especially for high-value material. This deposit will be returned if there are no incidents.

7. Insurance

KUVI is working to include an optional group policy that can cover theft or accidental damage, with agreed conditions.

8. Conflict resolution

KUVI will act as an impartial mediator in the event of conflicts. Decisions will be based on evidence (photographs, assessments, communications) and will be made with criteria of objectivity and fairness.

9. Acceptance

The use of the service implies the express acceptance of these conditions by all users.

KUVI reserves the right to modify these conditions with prior notice to users through the platform’s usual communication channels.
